How should children act when their mother refuses to return a child of unknown parentage to his mother, insisting on raising him despite the financial burdens and the necessity of proving his lineage for school enrollment?

If the marriage is valid, or if there is a doubt that prevents the Hadd punishment, then the child is attributed to his father. If neither of these conditions is met, then the child is attributed to his mother. The children are not allowed to prevent their mother from raising him, and she will be rewarded for it, while observing the rules of Sharia (definition) in that regard.
