I want to live in a certain town, but my wife always refuses; what should I do?

The husband is advised to engage in continuous dialogue with his wife to convince her of his choice, and to seek assistance from those close to her, offering her love and affection. Marital happiness is built upon affection, mercy, and the sacrifice of each party to make the other happy. As for the wife, our advice to her is to obey her husband and respond to his desire, prioritizing it over her own desire regarding the place of residence, unless she stipulated a specific location in the marriage contract. If there is no such stipulation, then the matter rests with him, in accordance with the saying of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him: "The woman is with her husband."
