How should one deal with a wife who has recently converted to Islam in Moldova, and what is the appropriate Islamic dress for her, given that her family is unaware of her conversion?

Calling people to Islam should be done by following the methodology of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while observing the following: 1. Clarifying the fundamentals of faith and the pillars of Islam in a clear and simplified manner. 2. Gradually introducing her to matters of lawful and unlawful. 3. Translating the meanings, ethics, and manners of Islam through your interactions with her. 4. Emphasizing the belief in loyalty to the believers and disavowal of the disbelievers, and choosing righteous companionship.

Regarding her attire when going out in public, try to encourage her to cover her adornment and her entire body. If she does not cover her face and hands, then once faith is firmly rooted in her heart, she should be urged to cover her face and hands.

As for her family, there is no harm in them knowing about her conversion to Islam. You should encourage her to treat them kindly and righteously, so that they may witness the tolerance and good character of Islam. This might even be a reason for them to accept and embrace Islam. However, if their knowledge of the matter will negatively affect your wife's Islam, then you must conceal it.
