How can one reconcile the affirmation of the attribute of "Self" for Allah Almighty in His saying: "And Allah warns you of Himself," with His saying: "Every soul will taste death"; and similarly, between the affirmation of the attributes of "two Hands" and "Face" for Allah Almighty in His saying: "Rather, both His Hands are extended," and His saying: "Everyone upon the earth will perish, but there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor," this being in response to those who claim that affirming these attributes for Allah necessitates death and annihilation for Him?

Allah Almighty is exalted above death, so His Self is not included in His saying, "Every soul will taste death." As for His saying, "Everyone upon it will perish, And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor," the 'Face' here signifies the Essence endowed with attributes, and it is an attribute firmly established for Allah, as revealed in the divine texts. Moreover, the remaining of the attribute of the 'Face' necessitates the remaining of the One described, which is the sacred Essence. There are also creations that will not perish, such as the Throne, Paradise, and Hellfire; so how about Allah Almighty?
