Is it permissible to supplicate for the modification of large ear size?

You should not be taunted or ridiculed because of the shape of your ears, for all of Allah's creation is beautiful. You must advise those who mock you and explain the impermissibility of their actions. If the shape of your ears is normal, you should not supplicate for their alteration, fearing that your supplication might be among the forbidden transgressions. However, if the shape of your ears is considered a defect by people, there is no blame upon you for supplicating for its removal or seeking to remove it through surgery.
