Is it permissible to enter the women's prayer area in the mosque in a state of menstruation, while using it for Quran memorization, given that it overlooks the mosque and there is no other memorization space?
If the place is prepared for prayer and taken as a mosque, then it is not permissible for a menstruating woman to stay in it, even for learning and teaching the Quran. This is the opinion of the majority of scholars, based on the verse: "Nor (are ye allowed to approach them) when ye are Junub, – unless it be that ye are passing on the road, till after ye have bathed" [An-Nisa: 43] and the : "For I do not permit the mosque for a menstruating woman or one who is in a state of (major impurity)." But if the place is prepared for memorizing the Quran and prayer is performed in it secondarily, then it does not take the ruling of a mosque, and it is permissible for a menstruating woman to stay in it.
