Does the pillar of tranquility in prayer become forfeited due to feeling afraid of a knock at the door while praying alone at home?

The fear you experienced during prayer does not invalidate it, even if it led to a disruption in your devotion (khushu'), because devotion is one of the Sunnahs (recommended acts) of prayer.
