The mother committed a grave sin by dealing with sorcerers and charlatans; for magic is one of the destructive sins, and whoever comes to a sorcerer and believes him has disbelieved. Nevertheless, you must accompany her with kindness, honor her, advise her to abandon this sin, and supplicate for her guidance. There is no harm in avoiding her food and drink if you fear the presence of magic in it.
