What are the animals that Allah transformed and what was the reason for their transformation?

Allah Almighty transformed some nations into apes and pigs, such as the People of the Sabbath from the Children of Israel, because they violated Allah's prohibitions. This transformation was not a lineage for them, as a transformed being cannot reproduce. Apes and pigs existed before the transformation of the People of the Sabbath. As for snakes, Allah Almighty transformed them from the guardians of Paradise after they allowed Iblis to enter and whisper to Adam and Eve.
