What is the ruling on using colored medical contact lenses?

It is permissible to use colored contact lenses if they do not harm the eye, do not constitute extravagance or wastefulness, and do not lead to deception or misrepresentation for a suitor. However, if the lenses are for the husband or within the family home, and there is no harm or extravagance, then there is no objection to that.
