Is the worshipper's saying, "O Allah, admit me to Paradise tonight," considered an transgression in supplication?

Excess in supplication (Du'a) means asking for something that contradicts Allah's wisdom, or His law and command, or that which goes against what He has informed us of. And requesting to enter Paradise tonight with one's body and soul is an excess, because it contradicts what Allah, the Exalted, has informed us of, for entering Paradise occurs after death and resurrection. However, requesting to enter it in a dream is not an excess, because it is possible and does occur. Similarly, if the supplicant wishes for death and for his soul to enter Paradise tonight, it is permissible, because the souls of believers enjoy bliss in Paradise until the Day of Judgment. It is better not to restrict the request to enter Paradise to "tonight," such as saying, "O Allah, I ask You for Paradise," or "Admit me into Paradise by Your mercy," following the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for it might contain a lack of proper etiquette with Allah.
