What is the ruling on money received by a paramedic from a private hospital in exchange for bringing patient cases to it, if the patient's family is unaware of this, and the hospital claims that this money is not added to the patient's bill?

If the amount is from the private hospital's earnings and is not added to the patient's bill, then there is no need to inform the patient about it, because brokerage is permissible in Islamic law, and the only condition is that the payer be aware of it. However, it is obligatory to fulfill the trust in choosing the most suitable hospital for the patient in terms of cost and quality of services, as this is part of the advice required in Islam.
