What is the ruling on praying in such darkness that you can barely see your hands?

The prayer is valid if its conditions, pillars, and obligations are fulfilled. Light is not a condition for it, unless the darkness causes a fear that distracts the worshiper and removes their devotion, in which case the prayer becomes disliked.
