When were Judaism and Christianity revealed, who are their prophets, and when was each of them considered an official religion?

The religion of Allah Almighty, which He approved for humanity, is Islam. It is submission to Allah, following His messengers, and disavowing polytheism. All prophets brought it. The sorcerers of Pharaoh called themselves Muslims, as in Allah’s saying: "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims." Similarly, the companions of Jesus said: "We are supporters of Allah. We have believed in Allah, and testify that we are Muslims."

The name "Judaism" prevailed for the religion of Allah Almighty during the time of Moses, peace be upon him, before the distortion of the Torah. The reason for this naming goes back to the saying of Moses' companions: "Indeed, we have turned to You." Moses, peace be upon him, lived in the thirteenth century BC.

As for Christianity, it is attributed to the Messiah Jesus, peace be upon him. Jesus lived in the sixth century before the advent of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and he came to renew the law of Moses. The correct name for the religion is "Nasraniyah" (Nazareneism), and "Christianity" is a name innovated by the disbelievers. The Messiah will descend to refute those who exaggerated concerning him, break the cross, and kill the swine.

It must be believed that Islam abrogated the previous religions, and it is obligatory to act upon what it brought, while believing in all that was revealed to the previous prophets. Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him.
