Applying makeup is originally permissible, as long as it does not harm the body, is not used for unlawful purposes, and does not contain impurities. However, it is not permissible for you to find makeup models for your friend who works in this field, because that would constitute cooperation in sin and ostentation (tabarruj), and the corruption that arises from it, and due to the possibility of their pictures leaking and being seen by men.
