Does telling my friends that I committed sins I did not commit count as (lying) public disclosure of sins, despite my repentance?

Those who were told about the commission of the sin must be informed that it was a lie to achieve complete repentance. For, to publicize a sin is for a person to disclose what Allah has concealed for him. Lying about committing a sin is even more heinous because it combines mendacity with spreading indecency, which necessitates a severe punishment. It may also make the claimant a partner in sin due to the intention of wishing for the sin.
