Is it permissible to eat and sell a chicken that died by drowning in olive oil?

The chicken is dead, and it is impermissible to eat it. If the chicken falls into liquid oil, the oil becomes impure, and it is impermissible to eat or sell it. However, if the oil is solid, the part that touched the chicken and its surroundings should be discarded, and the rest can be used. Some scholars are of the opinion that the oil does not become impure unless its characteristics change. If it is ruled to be impure, it is permissible to use it for purposes other than prayer, eating, and drinking.
