Is it permissible for a worshiper to supplicate to Allah in prostration in their own language after the Tasbeeh, or must the supplication be in Arabic?

Scholars have differed on the ruling of supplicating in a language other than Arabic during prayer. Some have forbidden it, some have permitted it, and some have provided detailed explanations. The correct view is that if it is possible to supplicate in Arabic with an understanding of its meaning, that is preferable, and one should choose concise, comprehensive supplications. However, if one is unable to do so, then they may supplicate in their own language. It is also commendable to include in their supplication a translation of the comprehensive Prophetic supplications.
