It is not permissible for a father to prevent his daughter from marrying in order for her to serve him, or out of fear for her. Rather, he can provide himself with a servant, and she can look after his affairs after marriage in a way that does not conflict with her husband's rights. It is not permissible for a girl to marry without her guardian's permission, unless the father refuses to marry her off, in which case she may resort to the judiciary. Also, it is not permissible for a chaste woman to marry an adulterer unless he repents sincerely. Furthermore, it is not permissible to stipulate that the infallibility (right to divorce) be in the wife's hand, as this is a void condition. As for misyar marriage, it is permissible.
