Does the reward of ongoing charity reach the deceased woman after her mother gives away a portion of her money, and is it permissible for her mother to perform Umrah on her behalf with her own money, and will she be rewarded for it, and is the money from ongoing charity lawful or unlawful?

If a wife saves money from her husband without his knowledge, she is not permitted to do so. The money belongs to the husband and must be returned to him; it does not become part of the wife's estate.

However, if the money was a gift from the husband to her, then it becomes her property and is included in her estate, which is distributed among her heirs. Her mother has no right to dispose of it through charity or Umrah without their permission.

What the mother gave in charity without the permission of the heirs, she is liable for and must pay back to them, unless they consent to it. Giving charity on behalf of the deceased is permissible, and its reward reaches them.

The mother may perform Umrah on behalf of her daughter using her own money, provided she has first performed Umrah for herself. The mother will receive a reward for this. Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for the deceased is permissible.
