Was Ibn Sina guilty of disbelief (kufr)?

Ibn Sina, Abu Ali al-Husayn ibn Abdullah, born in 370 AH and died in 428 AH, was one of the Batini Qarmatians and had well-known statements of disbelief. A group of scholars, including al-Ghazali, Ibn al-Qayyim, and Ibn Hajar, declared him a disbeliever because of his assertion of the world's eternality, his denial of bodily resurrection, and his claim that Allah does not know particulars through particular knowledge. His repentance before his death has been recounted, and Allah knows best what state he died upon.
