What is the Islamic legal interpretation of the saying: "With the death of the elders, Allah's blessing diminishes for the remaining living relatives," and is its meaning correct?

Death is a great calamity and a trial from Allah, as stated in His Almighty قول: (And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient). As for the claim that the death of elders causes the descent of calamities or a decrease in blessings upon the family, there is no evidence for it. This contradicts what is observed and Allah's way with His creation, for every soul earns only what it has gained (And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another). The real calamity lies in the death of people of knowledge and righteousness whose presence benefits people, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the servants, but rather He takes away knowledge by taking away the scholars." So, their death is a void and a decrease in goodness and blessings.
