What is the ruling on a Muslim supplicating that Allah make him better than a specific person, or of a higher rank than him in Paradise, especially if this person is ill-mannered, shameless, quick to anger, and characterized by extremism and excessive strictness, despite being religiously committed, and has been advised many times without benefit, and the heart of the supplicant finds no rest except by the fulfillment of this supplication?

One must purify their heart from malice, hatred, and envy towards their Muslim brother, just as the man from the people of Paradise did, who harbored no deceit and envied no one for the blessings Allah had bestowed upon them. If one's brother has a fault, they should advise him gently. As for the mentioned supplication, there is no sin in it, but it is better to adhere to the comprehensive Prophetic and Quranic supplications that encompass all good.
