Is an introverted person considered a severer of family ties?

Whoever visits his relatives, inquires about their well-being, and responds to their invitations, but does not spend much time sitting with them, is not considered a severer of kinship ties, especially if the reason is his fear of gatherings involving backbiting, unlawful listening, or intermingling. However, isolating oneself from relatives and completely abandoning them is indeed considered severing kinship ties.
