What is the ruling on a married man anally penetrating a foreign woman, what is the expiation for this sin, and does this affect his marital relationship?

Whoever penetrates a foreign (non-mahram) woman anally has committed a major sin, and upon him is the punishment (hadd) for fornication (zina). Expiation for this disobedience is through sincere repentance, which requires abandoning the sin, regretting having committed it, and resolving never to return to it. Fornication with a married woman is a greater sin, and likewise, the fornication of a muhsan (one who has previously been married) is more grave than that of a non-muhsan. The wife is not divorced by this act.
