What is the solution to the problem of not being able to directly quote religious or scientific texts without having to narrate them from the beginning?

Recall (or mental presence) is important for a student of knowledge. To strengthen it: it is a gift from Allah, so one must resort to Him through supplication. It is also a power that can be strengthened through revision to train the mind, just as it develops with study, research, patience in seeking knowledge, and combining memorization with understanding.
