Is it permissible to allow a student to defend her Master's thesis, which she translated, after modifying some of the terminology and ideas within it that contradict the Islamic religion, or should its defense be entirely disallowed?

There is no objection to using the term "taqammus" (incarnation/impersonation) in translation if the intention is to mean imitating the teacher's personality and integrating with it, which is close to the meaning of emulation. However, the paragraph stating that Adam is a mythical figure must be deleted, as it contradicts Islam. It is permissible to discuss the message after addressing the Shariah-related errors within it. As for phrases that are impermissible to write, they should not be translated until their errors have been rectified.
