Is it permissible to combine the intention of dedicating the reward of reading the Qur'an to the deceased with seeking protection from calamities and intrigues?

It is permissible to dedicate the reward of recitation to Muslims, whether living or deceased. And every act of worship performed by a Muslim, the reward of which he dedicates to another Muslim, is permissible and beneficial to him, whether it is a voluntary act or an obligatory one, such as Hajj, prayer, supplication, seeking forgiveness, charity, and fasting. It is recommended to dedicate the reward by saying: "O Allah, make the reward of such and such for so and so." It is also permissible to have multiple intentions in a single act, such as the intention of dedicating the reward and averting misfortune, for secret charity extinguishes the wrath of the Lord, and doing good deeds protects against evil fates.
