Is it required for a wife to perform ghusl (ritual bathing) after janabah (state of ritual impurity) before breastfeeding her child or preparing food?

It is preferable for the one in a state of major ritual impurity (junub)—whether male or female—to hasten to perform ghusl (ritual bath) to purify from it, but this is not obligatory. It is permissible for the wife to attend to her affairs, such as cooking and feeding the children, before performing ghusl.
