Is it permissible for a woman to go about her normal life and perform her household tasks before performing ghusl to cleanse herself from janabah?

It is forbidden for a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) to perform prayer (salat), circumambulate the Kaaba (tawaf), stay in the mosque, recite the Quran, or touch the Mushaf (the physical copy of the Quran). As for anything other than these, it is permissible. There is no harm for a woman in a state of major ritual impurity to cook, take care of her home and children, or attend to her needs, based on the Hadith of Abu Hurairah that a Muslim does not become impure. It is recommended for a person in a state of major ritual impurity to hasten to perform ghusl (ritual bath), and it is recommended for them to perform ablution (wudu) before eating, drinking, sleeping, and engaging in other activities. This wudu is not obligatory but rather to alleviate the burden of the impurity, based on the Hadith of Aisha and Ibn Umar.
