Blocking all pretexts (Sadd al-Dhara'i'): Changing phone numbers and email addresses, getting rid of anything that reminds one of the relationship, and occupying one's time with what is beneficial in worldly and religious matters, as idleness is one of the causes of falling into such relationships. 4. Repenting to Allah: Repenting from all sins and transgressions, as they are intertwined. 5. Performing religious obligations: Adhering to divine commands, for neglecting them is a cause for being afflicted with sins and the dominance of devils. 6. Abandoning bad company: Replacing it with righteous company that helps one obey Allah and reminds one of Him.
