1. Knowing their danger: Realizing the immense danger they pose to one's religion and worldly life, as they corrupt the heart, waste time, and lead to scandal and shame. 2. Seeking Allah's help: Turning to Him with supplication and humility, especially during times when prayers are answered. 3. Blocking all pretexts (Sadd al-Dhara'i'): Changing phone numbers and email addresses, getting rid of anything that reminds one of the relationship, and occupying one's time with what is beneficial in worldly and religious matters, as idleness is one of the causes of falling into such relationships. 4.
