First, debts must be paid from the estate, then the remainder is distributed among the heirs. If the heirs are the wife, sons, and daughters, the wife receives one-eighth due to the existence of a inheriting offspring, and the remainder goes to the sons and daughters by ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The remaining mentioned individuals are completely excluded (mahjub hirman) by the son. It is advisable to refer matters of inheritance to the courts for investigation.
