Does feeling pleasure and increased love when recalling the engagement period, which was not pleasing to Allah, contradict repentance and necessitate sin?

The interaction between a fiancé and fiancée is forbidden, and they must offer sincere repentance. A sign of its sincerity is regret when recalling the act, not joy in it. This does not contradict feeling love for one's spouse and the renewal of that love. However, one must beware of wishing to return to that period or increase such actions, as this constitutes persistence in sin. If the recollection is devoid of pleasure, it does not negate repentance; rather, it increases good deeds if accompanied by regret and brokenness.
