Is removing excess hair around the eyebrow, and not thinning the eyebrow itself, permissible or forbidden?

It is permissible to remove excess hair from the eyebrows if it is a defect that disfigures one's appearance, based on the narration of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who permitted Arfajah ibn Sa'd to use a nose made of gold after his nose was severed. However, if the removal is for increasing beauty, it is not permissible, based on the narration where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the namisat (women who pluck eyebrows) and the mutanamisat (women who have their eyebrows plucked), who alter Allah's creation.
