The danger of feeling secure from Allah's devices is immense; Allah Almighty has described those who feel secure from His devices as losers. Among the most important means of curing oneself from feeling secure from Allah's devices is to frequently ponder the texts of the two revelations (Qur'an and ) that speak of Allah's promise and warning, and of His encouragement and discouragement. For the believer performs righteous deeds while being fearful, apprehensive, and afraid, not knowing whether his misdeeds have been forgiven and his good deeds accepted or not.
