Is a person's love for his handsomeness or his lust considered a sin?

If love is meant as admiration for a person's beauty without attachment or lust, then this is a fleeting worldly friendship that will not last. True love that benefits one in the Hereafter is love for the sake of Allah, as Allah the Almighty says: "Close friends on that Day will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous." Those who love each other in this world will meet in the Hereafter if they are among the people of Paradise and the righteous. However, if they are among the wretched, they will be enemies. A Muslim should choose friends who are good and righteous, for "a person is on the religion of his close friend." A good companion is beneficial, and a bad companion is harmful. But if the matter reaches the point of looking with lust, it is a great prohibition and a path that leads to great corruption.
