How can I draw closer to Allah through acts of worship and good deeds?

Worship is a comprehensive term for all that Allah loves and is pleased with, whether apparent or hidden, comprising sayings and actions. It includes obligations, pillars, supererogatory acts, dealings, and manners—meaning all of life and the entirety of a human being's existence. The Muslim worships his Lord with all his limbs, body, wealth, and self. As stated in His (Allah's) Almighty saying: "Say, 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.'"
