Is it permissible to affix pictures of flowers to the Mushaf?

There is no objection to decorating the cover of the Mushaf with images of flowers and the like, as the majority of scholars have permitted decorating the Mushaf and adorning it with gold and silver out of reverence for it. It is permissible for the decoration to be on the outer cover, but it is not permissible for it to be inside on the verses or chapters, or to be written with, because that is disliked.
