Why did God punish Yunus (peace be upon him) by having the whale swallow him for leaving his people without permission, while He did not punish Ibrahim (peace be upon him) despite his saying: "And he said, 'Indeed, I am going to my Lord; He will guide me'"?

Ibrahim and Muhammad (peace be upon them) migrated by God's permission to God, and God did not rebuke them for their migration. As for Jonah (peace be upon him), God rebuked him for his migration because his migration was without God's permission. He left his people in anger and despair of their response to him, without being granted permission to do so.
