Why does the Qur’an not mention a punishment sent down upon the people of Abraham and the people of Jesus, just as it mentioned the punishment that befell previous nations like the people of Noah, 'Ad, Thamud, and Moses?

The Holy Quran does not detail the punishment of the peoples of Abraham and Jesus (peace be upon them both), but it generally mentions that they disbelieved their messengers and wronged themselves. However, exegetes and historians have mentioned detailed punishments for them. It is said that Allah unleashed mosquitoes upon the people of Abraham, which destroyed them, or that their kingdom was destroyed by the Akkadians. As for the people of Jesus, it is said that they were transformed into monkeys and pigs as a result of his supplication against them.
