Historians and chroniclers mentioned that Allah punished the people of Ibrahim with mosquitoes, sending them against Nimrod and his soldiers, thus destroying them. Allah sent against them swarms of mosquitoes that devoured their flesh and blood, leaving them as mere bones. One mosquito entered King Nimrod's nose and remained there for four hundred years, tormenting him until Allah destroyed him.
