The trust () in the verse refers to the entire religion. The trust means God's honoring of humanity by singling them out with responsibilities and deeds not given to other creatures, and honoring them in the Hereafter with eternal life in everlasting bliss, seeing their Lord, and dwelling with prophets, truthful ones, martyrs, and the righteous. If a person does not preserve this trust, then they are indeed unjust and ignorant.
