When did Adam accept the Trust?

The trust (Al-Amanah) that humankind bore, as mentioned in His exalted saying: ﴿Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But humankind bore it. Indeed, he was ever unjust and ignorant.﴾ Al-Ahzab/72, encompasses all meanings of trusts in religion and among people. It is the burden of accepting commands and prohibitions. Adam (peace be upon him) bore the trust in Paradise before his descent to Earth and before he ate from the forbidden tree.
