What is the ruling on saying "Allah" after the reciter finishes reciting the Qur'an in the mosque?

The people's utterance of "Allah" after the reciter finishes is not from the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from the righteous predecessors. Rather, he (the Prophet) would be affected by the recitation and weep. Raising one's voice in mosques, even with remembrance (dhikr), is disliked, especially if it disturbs those praying. The fundamental principle is that the one remembering Allah should supplicate to his Lord without raising his voice, as Allah Almighty says: "And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and fear, and without loudness in words" [Qur’an 7:205]. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Be easy on yourselves, for you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent."
