Is it permissible to pray with tayammum for a week due to a leg illness that prevents ghusl after a wet dream, or must the prayers be repeated?

If washing the rest of the body does not cause harm or delay healing, then the sound part should be washed, and the cast should be wiped over. The prayers that were performed without doing so must be repeated. However, if washing the sound part harms the wound, then one should resort to tayammum, and there is no need to repeat the prayers. Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen said: If the wound is exposed, it is obligatory to wash it; if that is difficult, then wipe over it; if that is difficult, then perform tayammum. If it is covered with something permissible to cover it with, then only wiping over it is sufficient; if wiping over it harms it, then one should resort to tayammum.
