The husband's declaration in the document that he is single does not affect the validity of the marriage, as long as the conditions for marriage are met. However, the husband's concealment of his previous marriage from his wife and her family may involve a form of deception and fraud. The perpetrator of such an act may incur sin, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats is not from us." Clarity and frankness in such matters are required, because concealing the marriage harms the wife and destroys mutual trust between the spouses.
