When does the time for the 'Isha prayer end?

The time for the 'Isha prayer begins when the twilight disappears and continues until dawn. It is preferable not to delay it beyond the first third of the night, and some scholars believe it is not permissible to delay it beyond midnight. It is best for all prayers to be performed at the beginning of their time, in congregation with Muslims, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Prayer is at its appointed time."
