Is it permissible to establish relationships initially on the basis of mutual interests without intending thereby the Face of Allah?

Establishing relationships with people for the purpose of getting acquainted, or for transactions, or for reconciliation, seeking the Face of Allah, is the most perfect and best. And whoever does that for a worldly purpose, then he misses the reward but is not sinful, because these are not pure acts of worship. So, doing good that benefits others is good even if it is not done seeking the Face of Allah, but the reward for it is for whoever does it seeking the pleasure of Allah. As for pure acts of worship like prayer and fasting, whoever performs them for a worldly purpose has no good in them whatsoever.
