What is the ruling on one who falsely swore on the Mus'haf to cover for another person? Is expiation permissible for this oath, and will repentance be accepted?

1. What you did by having someone take the exam on your behalf is forbidden, and it is also forbidden for that person to agree to it, due to the deception and trickery involved.

2. If telling the truth would lead to certain harm affecting the person, such as dismissal from their job or invalidation of their certificate, then there is no sin upon you for lying, because it is permissible out of a legitimate necessity. Otherwise, you must offer sincere repentance to Allah.

3. An expiation for breaking an oath is binding upon you, because you broke your oath not to lie.

4. Entry into Paradise is a matter of the unseen. Therefore, you must adhere to Allah's commands, refrain from His prohibitions, perform many righteous deeds, and have a good opinion of Allah.
