What is the expiation for "a vow made to Allah" not to resort to one's mother concerning a certain matter, then returning to ask for her help in everything?

Scholars have differed on the ruling of saying, "I covenant with Allah to do such and such." The most accurate view is that it becomes both a vow and an oath if one commits to it as an act of nearness (to Allah) and obedience, and it becomes solely an oath if one commits to something that is not an act of nearness. Therefore, you must offer expiation for an oath regarding your mother asking for translation and other matters about which you covenanted with Allah to refrain from asking her.
